Halloween Tag Swap!

My little video sharing with you the tag I made for a tag swap I participated in.

Here are the pictures of my tag.
I made two in case one came out icky, I could send the better of the two. LOL

!!! Spoiler Alert !!!
Don't peak Jo from Australia {my swap partner}.

The tags have purple, black and gold fibers, I also made a small little pocket for the tiny removable tags that say "Witches Ball"

I used my own spritz paints I made from acrylic paints. I also used a bingo dauber and my finger to distress the edges. And I was able to pick up a small box of Halloween chipboard pieces

on sale at Joanne's for $2.99.

I don't know if you can see this very well.

and I don't know about anyone else, but

I do a sketch of the design I want to do.

Once I know I am going to work on a project, my mind starts wandering, I even sometimes will dream about what I want to make.

But .. here is my sketch.... don't laugh too hard!

Swapping stuff...

I have joined a few crafty places.

I am now into altered crafts

and to get myself inspired

I joined these places:

They have all kind of fun swaps for

all your craft ideas.

What got me into this was Tee from

I got to do my first tag swap with Tee.

Here is the lovely tag that Tee sent me:

and the tag I made for her. Mind you,

my budget is like zero dollars to do this artwork,

so I went to my old box of sewing things and wrapping paper and stuff and came up with this:

I had purple lace and peach lace so it wasn't exactly fall colors
but I used what I had.
I sure had fun with it!

I cut up a gift bag that I had from a birthday gift
I got back in 2000. I knew I saved that bag
for a reason. LOL

I had fun!

I can't wait to do more!

Addiction time...

I am a person that goes hog wild once I am into something

I love doing.

right now it is scrapping / altered things, like tags, cards, scrapbook

pages and such.

So, I went on over to You Tube and watched a few things,

which then turned into watching videos

for the last 2 hours.

I learned a lot!

I do not have a large budget, I mean I don't have a budget at all

to make my crafts. But I did get some ideas on how to make homemade

glimmer mist and alcohol ink and daubers and distress pads

and so much more.

NOW, I just have to figure out what alcohol ink or glimmer mist ink or distress ink

is used for. So, I need help, any help I can get!

(yea, yea...those that know me know, know what HELP I really need )

LOL!

So, all you lovely crafty ladies or gents,

Does one need all these inks and what are they used for?

My take on Vintage Thingy Thursday

I am participating in:

I spent more time than I wanted to over at Pinterest today, like this is new, NOT, LOL. But I decided I WILL work on something vintage for my home and saved quite a few things to my Pinterest boards that I want to do.

Wthout further ramblings from me...… here are a few fancies:

I want very much to do a whole wall like this. I am sure it will work great on my off white walls.
