All you need to know about life...
....thirteen lessons learned from my horses
1. Eat plenty of roughage.
2. Great legs and a nice rear will get you anywhere in life. Big, brown eyes help too.
3. In times of crises, take a poop.
4. Act dumb when faced with a task you don’t want to do.
5. Follow the herd, that way you can’t be singled out to take the blame.
6. Love those who love you back, especially if they have something good to eat.
7. When in doubt, run far, far away.
8. You can never have too many treats.
9. Passing gas in public is nothing to be ashamed of.
10. Ignore cues, they’re just another prompt to do more work.
11. Never run when you can jog.
12. Never jog when you can walk.
13. And never walk when you can stand still.
I found this on the internet last night when I was wandering all over different horsey sites (author unknown). I sure got a kick out of it and wanted to share.

ROTFL!! Amen!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thanks for starting my day off with a smile!
The funny thing about this list is that is applies to some of my coworkers. When asked if you've completed a task, pretend like you didn't get the email. When asked to meet a deadline, go as slow as possible so that you won't meet it and won't be asked to meet any deadline in the future. When confronted with a task that is too difficult, call in sick until they give it to someone else...
ReplyDeleteNM... I hear ya there. I have known a few of them kind of coworkers also.
ReplyDeleteBut ya still have to laugh.
take care all and happy horsin' around
Great list...I agree that it applies to some of our human counterparts as well:)
ReplyDeleteI've seen this before but always enjoy reading it. It's amusing but true as it applies to all of my horses, especially Dusty.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately my hubby has to work with a bunch of guys that are just like this and they are younger than 25. No work ethics!
ReplyDeletey'all take care!
I love #9! My Boy will thank you for putting that one out there. He is the gas man. No shame! ;)
