Foster kids and images...

We got 2 little foster kids last night (short term basis). They are 2 and 3 years old. Their mother was/is a drug addict and these darlings are actually being offered up for adoption. My heart goes out to these little boys. I will share more about them soon.

My images have been stolen. Ok, not stolen, but photobucket, where I have them hosted has had a malicious hacker mess with their site, so it may be a few more days before my site looks back to normal. I am looking into another image hosting site just in case.

  1. The poor little boys, why is it the children must always suffer for the adults mistakes.
Hope you find your images soon. How annoying is that to lose all your photos in cyber space.

  2. Poor babies.... thank Heavens you are there to take them in. I look at my 2 and 3 yr olds, and can not imagine what they would feel in that situation. Makes me want to gather them even closer, and hold tight forever with them....

Give the little dudes a hug from me....

  3. How great you all are able to be there for these boys. How sad that the children have to pay for the parents mistakes. Give them a hug from us, we will be praying for them.
UGH, computers I think they try and think of new ways to annoy us. Hope they get everything straightened out!

  4. Good luck with the boys. My stepdaughter's mom has been fighting a drug addiction for the past two years. It's always toughest on the kids and the kids always want to protect their Mom's. I wish you all the best with them and I'm glad that your state will actually take a stand against Mom's who use. Our's won't.

  5. My hubby and I will most likely only have these precious boys for 3 weeks (we are doing respite care for another couple), but we plan on making their 3 weeks with us the best we can for them.
There is a possibility that the full time foster parents will be putting them back into the system because they have 2 other very little boys they have just adopted. If that is the case, then we will be so happy to take these boys in. we will see and I will keep everyone posted.

  6. I think you are a God send for the boys. I am working on beginning an Equine Outreach Program in our area to focus on Foster children and all children in need (of course that is ALL children). I have seen first hand how horses can heal and give hope long after they are no longer part of someone's life. The boys will ALWAYS remember staying with the couple with horses. I will keep you and the boys in my thoughts.
